Laboratories / Research groups
CRIR researchers and their teams occupy over 40 laboratories, covering nearly 44,000 square feet distributed across our various research sites and sharing common platforms. Each laboratory is identified in terms of the technology or type of study located there, and there is a researcher in charge.
CRIR research spaces/laboratories are located in CRIR member facilities, which also offer common spaces for research and students. Therefore there are very close links with the facilities/CISSS/CIUSSS responsible for their respective research sites.
Since all research laboratories are located in clinical settings, proximity to the latter promotes exchanges between researchers, their students, healthcare professionals and managers, and facilitates the planning and execution of projects concerning clients at the various sites and carried out in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
