Project Description

The MOvIT-UP project aims to implement the MOvIT+™ intervention (https://www.movitplus.com/) in seven clinical settings across Canada, including six Health and Social Services Centres (CIUSSS) in Quebec. MOvIT+™ is a digital remote monitoring and training intervention (e.g. automated questionnaires, multimedia devices) for users and their caregivers after the provision of new assistive technologies. The objective of this project is to deploy the intervention on a large scale as part of a stepped-wedge trial in clinical settings in Quebec that provide mobility aids.

Candidates will be registered in Rehabilitation Sciences at the Université de Montréal
(https://readaptation.umontreal.ca/etudes/sciences-de-la-readaptation/). The research project will include sub-projects, i) evaluation of the implementation of the intervention and ii) evaluation of the clinical impacts. Applicants will establish collaborations with other project members and committees (Quebec, Ontario, British Columbia).
