Following the activity Meet with clinicians on stroke rehabilitation which took place on June 15, 2018, a Workshop on post-stroke fatigue will be presented on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 12:00noon to 1:00 pm at the Institut sur la réadaptation en déficience physique de Montréal (IURDPM – Lucie-Bruneau Pavilion), CIUSSS du Centre-Sud-de-l’Île-de-Montréal.
During this workshop, Annie Rochette, Ph.D., CRIR researcher and Odile Côté, clinical coordinator of stroke early supported discharge at the CIUSSS Centre-Sud-de-l’Île-de-Montréal will review the state of scientific and experiential knowledge about fatigue after stroke.
After an introduction on best practices (definition of fatigue, prevalence …), they will discuss the evaluation methods and interventions for the management of post-stroke fatigue. This presentation will last 30 minutes followed by 30 minutes for questions and discussion.
The workshop will take place at the IURDPM – Lucie-Bruneau Pavilion, room l’Escale #252 and will also be available by visioconference on the following sites: –
